I didn't start as a business coach.

I spent 10 years running someone else's insurance agency. I was the person everything ran through. Every client call, every team question, every decision. I thought that was leadership. It wasn't. It was being a bottleneck with a nicer title.

Then I started my own agency. I assumed that since I had already run one, running mine would be easier. It wasn't. It was harder. Now every decision was mine, every bill was mine, every team member's growth was mine. I was back to being the person everything ran through, except now I also owned the building.

Something had to change. I started studying systems, reading about operating rhythms, building frameworks that would let the business run without me being in the middle of it. Not theory. The practical, daily work of structure, processes, and leadership habits that actually compound.

Somewhere along the way, other business owners started asking how I was doing it. Then they started asking if I could help them do it. That's how Nicole G Consulting started.

What I believe about running a business

  • Most business problems are leadership problems in disguise.
  • You don't scale by working harder. You scale by building the business to run without you.
  • Clarity comes before structure. Structure comes before revenue. Revenue comes before legacy.
  • There's no such thing as a 'next level.' There's only the next decision.
  • The best businesses are built by operators who stopped operating and learned to lead.
