Hey there

I am Nicole G.

Eighteen years inside business. Thirteen watching and learning from inside other companies. Five running my own insurance agency, which I still run today.

Those years taught me the one thing most business coaches will never learn from a slide deck: the difference between operating a company and leading one. The gap between those two seats is what keeps most women stuck at $500K, $2M, or $5M for years longer than they should be, and closing that gap is the entire work I now do.

Today I run Nicole G Consulting, host the CEO Without the Chaos podcast, and coach women in business through The CEO Collective. For the women inside insurance agencies who want the deeper specialty work, I run The Agency Collective in parallel. I am still inside the industry, still running my agency, still in the rooms where the work actually happens.

The longer version

How I actually got here.

I will tell you the version most coaches do not tell. My first few years in insurance, I thought success was measured by hours. I was the first one in the office and the last one to leave. I wrote the most new business. I closed the toughest accounts. I won the awards. I burned out.

The wake up call came in pieces. A health scare I will not bore you with. A producer on my team who quit because she said I was teaching her how to grind, not how to lead. A weekend I missed at home because I was rebuilding a renewal proposal a junior account manager could have done if I had ever bothered to train her.

I spent the next three years rebuilding how I ran the agency. Systems. Frameworks. A team I actually trusted. The transformation was so dramatic that other agency owners started asking me how I did it. That is the question that turned me from operator into coach.

Now I coach women in business through the same pivot. The owners who are tired of being the highest producer on their own sales floor, the operator the company cannot live without, the smartest person in every room. Ready to build a business that does not need them in every decision. For the women inside insurance agencies who want the deeper, vocabulary-specific work, that lives inside The Agency Collective. Same framework, agency-fluent room.

The framework I teach is called The CEO Journey. Four stages. Predictable. Repeatable. Built from real time spent inside real businesses, not from an online MBA.

What I believe

The six things I will not negotiate on.

Sustainable beats sexy.

A business that runs without you in every seat every day is more valuable than one that hits a viral month and burns out a quarter later. I coach for sustainable scale, always, even when the louder voices in the room are selling something flashier.

The CEO seat is a choice.

You are not stuck in the operator chair because you have to be. You are stuck because nobody has shown you the moves to step out of it. Once you see them, you cannot unsee them, and the path forward becomes obvious.

Real strategy. No fluff.

I will not waste your time with mindset hacks dressed up as business strategy. The work is the work. We make decisions, build systems, hire well, and measure outcomes. That is the whole thing, and it is enough.

Women in business deserve better rooms.

Most business coaching was built by men, for men, in language that does not fit how most women actually run companies. The rooms I run are different on purpose, and the women inside them recognize themselves in the work.

The CEO Day is non-negotiable.

I run a four-day workweek. Fridays are my CEO Day, every week, no exceptions. I built the systems that make that possible, and I will help you build yours so you stop trading every Friday for someone else's emergency.

Lived experience beats theory.

I do not coach from a business school. I coach from inside the rooms I have actually sat in for eighteen years. You will not get textbook advice from me. You will get what I learned the expensive way, given to you for free.

The framework I built

The CEO Journey.

Four stages. Same order. Every time. The path out of the operator trap looks the same for every owner I work with.

1. Clarity

Who you serve. What you sell. Why your business exists. The work nobody wants to do because the answers feel obvious, until you try to write them down on a single page. We start here every time because everything downstream stays broken until this is solved.

2. Structure

The org chart. The roles. The weekly rhythm. The decisions that no longer require you. Structure is what makes a business able to run without you in the room, and it is the difference between owning a business and being owned by one.

3. Revenue

Predictable, leveraged income. The offer ladder. The pricing. The systems that turn one conversation into ten, then ten into a hundred, without burning you out. Revenue without structure is a hamster wheel. Revenue with structure is a business.

4. Legacy

A business worth selling. A team worth keeping. A schedule worth living. Legacy is the part most coaches never get to because they cannot get their clients past Stage 2. It is also the part that actually matters, and the reason you started this in the first place.
