This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have, when you visit nicolegconsulting.com or otherwise interact with our services including The CEO Brief newsletter, the Free CEO Audit, the Free Masterclass, our coaching programs (The CEO Collective, The Agency Collective, The Boardroom, The Team Collective), The CEO Bookshelf membership, The Hiring Lab, and our podcast.
Information We Collect
Information you provide directly. Your name, email address, phone number, business name, business industry and stage, business website, payment information (processed by our payment processors, not stored by us), and any other information you choose to share through forms, applications, surveys, scheduled calls, or email.
Information collected automatically. IP address, browser type and version, device type and operating system, referring website, pages visited, links clicked, time spent on pages, search queries on our site, and dates and times of visits. We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect this information.
Information from third parties. When you interact with us through social media, sign in with Google or another OAuth provider, or are referred by a current client, we may receive limited information from those services consistent with their privacy policies.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: deliver the products, services, and content you request; communicate with you about your account, applications, purchases, and scheduled calls; send marketing communications including The CEO Brief and offers about our programs (you can unsubscribe at any time); respond to your inquiries and provide customer support; personalize content and recommend relevant programs; improve our website, services, and educational materials; detect, prevent, and address fraud or technical issues; and comply with legal obligations.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only as follows:
Service providers who help us operate our business and have agreed to confidentiality and limited use, including: Kajabi (our website, course delivery, and email platform), Stripe (payment processing), Google (calendar, analytics, email infrastructure), Termly (legal compliance, if applicable), and the podcast hosting provider for episode delivery.
Professional advisors such as accountants, attorneys, and insurers when necessary to operate our business.
Legal requirements. We will disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or in response to a lawful request by public authorities, or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our clients or others.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or a portion of our business, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Your Choices and Rights
Email preferences. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us at [email protected]. Transactional emails about your purchases or account will continue.
Access, correction, and deletion. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. Some information may be retained as required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as tax records.
California residents. If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete, the right to correct, the right to opt out of sale or sharing (we do not sell or share), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Other state laws. Residents of Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have similar rights. Email us to exercise them.
Cookies and Tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (session management, security), analytics (understanding how visitors use the site), and personalization (remembering your preferences). You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not function correctly if you disable cookies. We do not currently honor Do Not Track browser signals.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as you have an active relationship with us, plus the time required to fulfill legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Newsletter subscribers' data is retained until you unsubscribe. Past client and customer data is typically retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. Kajabi (our primary platform) uses encryption in transit and at rest, and complies with industry-standard security practices. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
International Users
Our services are operated from the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S. By using our services, you consent to this transfer. If you are in the European Economic Area, UK, or other jurisdictions with data protection laws, you may have additional rights including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including our podcast hosting platforms, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and our payment processors. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. Review their privacy policies before sharing personal information with them.
